my 95 mustang gt's rearend is making some noise when i take off, let off or hit bumps, im guessing its control arms, but just checking to see other possibilities?? if i buy aftermarket control arms for upper and lower, that have the poly bushings, wont it make my stang ride rougher and be real stiff? if i just got new factory control arms would that help? i want this car to handle good in the corners too, so making the rearend too stiff might not be good

First, determine the cause of your problem.

I seriously DOUBT you need control arms.

Could it be a broken torque box? I had a friend with a 95 and he had the same problem. We lifted the car and found a broken weld on one of the spots near the upper control arms.

Sounds like the same problem I had the bushings were wore out on my car and the sway bar was hitting the rearend cover I bought new bars and it went away..

check the lower control arm bolts where they bolt to the torque box..I had a 95 once that wore the bolt out and bushing out from being loose and clanking back and forth......almost wallowed the hole out
