i bought my 89 mustang with these guages in the car and have heard different things from different people about if they are real or not and was wondering if anybody can let me know?

It's kinda hard to tell. The saleen gauge logo is correct for an 89, but there should be a saleen logo on the speedometer as well. You have the km/h markings there, but no logo. Is your car from outside the US?

The saleen logo on the tach looks appropriately placed, though.

Yes the tach looks correct..... Saleen used the factory face and put the name on it. As for the speedo, that is the factory V8 140mph. Saleen had there own that goes to 170mph with the saleen name.

yeah that is what i have heard is that the speedo usually goes to 160 in the foxbody saleens.. are saleen speedos hard to find or expensive?i would guess they are but i could be off
