Default WHICH CAI W/STRUT BAR....

I have an SVO intake, similar to the Buillit, on my '99 and have the SVO strut tower bar that I want to use since I have a vert but what GOOD CAI's will work with the strut bar? JLT will not allow the strut bar and I loved my JLT on the stock inake so....THX!

Great. JLT is the best but if you say JLT and this Densencharger I trust you! Where can I get one for the best price? THX! Mark

Default RE: WHICH CAI W/STRUT BAR....

jbullitt2005 I did a google search and there was one with a link to a Mustang forum where a guy did the Densecharger system and got 2whp, however it appears the system is designed to accept the strut tower bar and anyways for 2hp I would use the stock system and a K&N style filter in the stock air box. I am doing my own cai/rai set-up AS i HAVE MOVED MY FOG LIGHTS INBOARD TO ALLOW ONCOMING AIR TO BE DIRECTED RIGHT INTO THE INNER FENDER. I will find a way to have the air do dirctly into the air can so it gets ambient air and at some speed which may halp cool it a bit but most likely not but I will have use of the strut tower bar( I have a convertible) and cool air besides. man I would love the first piece that goes onto the TB so I could finish my own JLT type of CAI with thin polished 4" aluminum tubing that is available from several places, www.fullthrottlespeed.com being one on their DIY section on the left on the intercoller page. It's polished like chrome almost and comes in 4" with straight, 45* and 90* sections so I could easily do a JLT copy using the Densecharger TB connection as that seems to be about 4" long and it algles down doesn't it? THX, mark
