Hey guys I have a 2006 V6 Pony Package Mustang - I recently purchased 18x10FR500(back) and 18x9FR500(Front). The problem i'm having is choosing my tires.

I'm pretty much set on buying the Nitto 555's, for the price I just can't beat it.

The sizes I think i've decided on

On the front 18x9's i've decided on 255-45-18 Nitto 555's
On the back 18x10's i've decided on 275-40-18 Nitto 555's

Would this be a good choice of size to put on my rims with my Mustang?

Thanks and all inquiries would be greatly appreciated,
-Josh

Those sizes will work fine. Im running the 255-45-18 in front and the 295/45/18 out back with no rubbing issues whatsoever.

If you want to check out my pics feel free to...

your tire sizes sound really good, but is there a particular reason you are going with a smaller sidewall in the rear? I'm running 20x9's all the way around with 275/35/20 in the rear with the eibach prokit. its pretty close but there is still no rubbing issues. If I were you and was going to have 18x10's in the back I would put out just a little extra money and get the 295's they'll fit perfect and look mean as hell.

Why not pick the tire sizes that are OE on the GT500? 255/45-18 front with 285/40 rear. Your speedometer will remain just as accurate as it is now. The 285/40 is itself 0.1" shorter than the 255/45, and the 275/40 is shorter still - perhaps enough to not look quite right.
