if you are talking about tyhe plastic were the door and the window meets there are several different ways to clean it i have used degreases and a small brush i have used the turtle wax bug and tar remover (i have not tried this by the window but on my chin spoiler and that works great) or you could get some of the obbsesive detail silk shine

+1 to the WD-40. Use a rag with your finger tip and spray it on...then rub it in all around the trim and it will dissolve the wax plus any other greasy build-up, leaving a nice matte/original finish. Then apply some of Juztangs Silk Shine for that nice detailed look

Personall, I use armor-all on my 68. I just spray it ona rag and wipe it down. It also protects the vinyl from the sun

But armorall is a protectant, not a cleaner. I"ve never had any luck with armorall dissoving the wax residue like he is trying to correct.

07Smoke - post up your results with the WD-40. Curious to see if you found it to be as amazing as I once did many years ago
