I apologize up front for I am a newbie.

But I will be purchasing a Mustang very soon and have a general question.

I am going to atleast purchase the Mustang GT but was waiting for the specs. to come out on the Cobra. And with this article it raises a question. Is there going to be a Mustang Cobra or just the Shelby Mustang Cobra GT500 (basically something in between the Mustang GT and the Shelby GT500)?

My understanding of the order of Mustang release is as follows:
Mustang (Fall 2004), Mustang GT (Fall 2004), Mustang Convertible (Spring 2005), Mustange GT Convertible (Spring 2005), Shelby Mustang Cobra GT500 (June 2006)

But I heard from some rumors that there was gonna be Mustang Cobra released during Fall of 2005. Am i completely mistaken? As i would love to get the Shelby GT500 but I am not sure if its in my price range and therefore am looking into getting the GT, but if there was a Mustang Cobra (non Shelby) coming out in Fall of 05, then .... :)

I'm pretty sure this is the only cobra that we're getting so far, since this is the only information to come out officially about it. I don't know how much this one is going to run though, some people say it'll have a pretty price tag because it's got Shelby's name on it, and such. I guess we'll have to wait and see on how much it'll run us.

That is the most beautiful mustang that has ever come off the show room floor. I am going to save most of my money from this point foward and hopefully come June 2006 I will have a good chunk of the price tag along with trading in my 03 GT to buy that baby....
