Default Want to tighten up the steering response

I bought 2001 Cobra coupe with 37,000 miles. Would like to tighten up the steering some. Do the rack bushings work? I have owned 4 foxbodies in the past and don't remember thismuch slop in the steering. It isn't real bad. Just would like it tighter.Could be just the way these cars are. Was driving a 2003 350Z before the Cobra and it's steering was tight and very responsive. My suspension is stock. Just had an alignment done and they said all the bushings looked good and steering rack looked fine.

Had a full suspension urethane kit on my 90 GT , along withsprings, shocks andCC plates. From what I can remember. The steering was pretty good considering.

Is there anything that helps the steering on these cars without doing everything? Thanks!!
