Me being a vert, i realize im at a HUGE dissatvantage as far as handling and all that stuff goes. i wont have a chance to get a coupe for very long time and i want to be able to go raod racing or auto-x. what all would i need to give myself a sold platform to do this on?

heres what i have so far:
Bullitt shocks and struts
Roush lower control arms

i was pricing stuff off of stangsuspension last night and i was really close to pulling the trigger on some MM full length subbies and some Ford c springs.(i think im gonna wait till tax return to get that)

so what else would i need?

With a convertible I would first focus on stiffening the chassis. The convertible is missing a HUGE and crucial part of a stiff chassis... the roof.  So to make up for it, you should try to stiffen the chassis as much as possible...

Here is a few items I'd suggest....

Maximum Motorsports Full Length Subframe Connectors - http://www.stangsuspension.com/store/comersus_viewitem.asp?idproduct=329
Maximum Motorsports Strut Tower Brace - http://www.stangsuspension.com/store/comersus_viewitem.asp?idproduct=620
Steeda Rear Shock Tower Brace - http://www.stangsuspension.com/store/comersus_viewitem.asp?idproduct=826

Those 3 items will vastly increase the stiffness of the chassis, and get you "ready" for other suspension mods you may do to the car.

The springs would be a great step towards your Auto-X goals as well...
