It sounds like nothing more than a Roush Stage 1, which is all cosmetic goodies, and no more power than what you already have...

I you are getting the Roush for that price then yes it is a good deal but the Roush will be slower than the Mustang you already have because of the extra weight and wheel size. But for 60 more a month why not. You can always add mods like a Saleen SC.

To me its trading for a all show and no go car....how much is the dealership giving to you for your 07?

22,500 for mine and that pays it off.

20" rims ride that much worse? Been reading that you lose handling and ride with 20's.

I do not like the idea of losing power. Not one bit......but I like the looks of the car. Interior has the leather and full billet throughout. Its all showed up, but go is not affected.

My stang will get up and run with my mods. I guess a gear swap in the Roush to 4.10s would be a necessity to make up for the changes. I'm notafraidof that change.

I may just wait a little longer and see if they cheapen up more still on the Roush. I love my car, (07 torch red, gt appearance pack, 17" silver stockers, mirror covers, honeycomb rear, motor mods in sig). I really just want some wheels, leather and a better stereo. Base radio SUCKS, but didn't notice a Shker 500 being that awesome in the 08 GT/CS I drove yesterday. By the time I buy those things ($3,000.00 plus) its almost better to trade and pay 60.00 more. Maybe I oughta see if Jan 2 the 08's get better and just trade for one like I want new with lower interest, maybe.

You aren't really loosing any power. You are just back to the stock GT power wise...the 20s, depending on how much they weigh will cost you a few HP.....the body components add some extra weight also.....so you might have say 250-260 instead of 260-270 stock HP.....not that big of a deal really

put in a s/c in a year or two and

If I trade I'm gonna install my tune, intake, and UDP's on the new one. I installed it all myself so its no biggie to swap. Guess I will leave the flows on the red stang since the roush has its own high flow exhaust installed.

the tunes probably wont work.....you will need new ones

They have three just alike to choose from that are 5 speeds. Maybe one will have the same calibration code..

All the tunes are written for the same ECM code.....if the code isnt the same, then you need all new tunes

if you just love the way it looks it might be worth an extra 60 bucks.. but you could just make yours look like that.. if its 60 over 5 years thats an extra 3,600 + interest... you can get some nice stuff for your car for that... I wouldn't do it.. but if you like it so much.. go for it.

If you are buying the authentic Roushto pamper so that in 20 years you have a rare car worth more than book, then go for it.

If replacing yourdaily driver, the extra $7,000 can add much more to the car you alreay have.[sm=yikesomg.gif]

I say go for it. The Roush is such a beautiful car and it comes with a way better sound than your flowmasters ;)

They have 3 of them in sliver with all the same stuff, so they aren't going anywhere. Guess I will see what the new incentives are tomorrow and go from there. I like the look, except the rear of the car. Course like above I can spend a little on what I have and what I want and/or more.

This all started with the wife saying (since we bought her a 0% SUV last month) maybe we can find a lower APR for your mustang GT..... LOL......Now she wishes she had kept her idea to herself.

Keep your car and add FI and a bottom end build - no brainer.
