95 was the last year, and with more then 450 HP you will have 2 4 cylenders and not one whole v8 when you crack the block down the lifter valley, for somereason when the few who build the v6s DO reach 500, 600, 700, and 800 HP they are using stock blocks and cranks,
having more cubic inches doesnt make your car faster, you need to know how to build it and how to spend your money
scrming, fazm, lilroush, mysteed, SSM, and matt all come to mind when i hear "slow v6" who cares what people build, OMG you have a bolt on s197 GT!? guess what so do about 25,000 other people around the world
jeezus v6 guys are touchy...go back over what i said...i said it is what it is...no need to be so defensive..its a cute little car...i agree...but for the sake of argument and because you v6 guys are taking it so personal...i make this statement to appease ya:
the mustang v6 is a better car in every way than the mustang gt...they are more sturdy and handle more horsepower...i think i am going to go trade my gt in for a v6 because the v6 is way more manly

I agree....though I think it may go a bit longer. If the musclecar wars were a movie, it would be entering the last reel. We certainly have been in a great musclecar/horsepower era for some time now. In fact, many drivers have become spoiled with escalating horsepower numbers. At the rate that horsepower keeps increasing and the rate that gasoline is going up, it isn't going to continue forever. I love fast cars, but when horsepower numbers get well over 400 and city mpg gets down in the lower teens, I begin to realize that I could be very happy with a little less horsepower and a little better gas mileage. 400+ horsepower would be a lot of fun, but I realistically wouldn't be able to use that power very much and would probably end up getting very well know by the people who drive those cars with bright flashing lights on the top.

well what about people who just want a mustang cause they like the style and history of the car but cant afford a higher engine level than a v6 its not just about going fast.

in fairness...how did i shoot first...who called who a retard, dousche, idiot, ass......it was hilarious cause alls i did was talk about a CAR...when did i ever refer to any person? i didnt aim at anybody....instead of imagining how my sentence "came out" how about looking at what it said? there is no tone of voice here...its just words and words are kind of self explanatory...i never even said the v6 was a bad car

When I bought my first brand new car (a 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1), I bought it because I loved the way it looked. I ended up with the 351 Cleveland 4 bbl, because I wanted a 4 speed manual and that was the engine that came with it. If it wasn't for a 66 VW Beetle that showed me how much fun shifting was, I probably would have ended up with an auto and less horsepower. I still would have loved the car though, because the looks are what sold me on the car.
