The loss is minimal when compared to what would happen if u cut it off completely to a convertable, but still there none-the-less. If u were to do a T-top conversion on a stang (never heard of them available, would be curious to see where kits could be purchased) i would strongly recommend a sub-frame to give back some of the rigidity, of course rigidity dosnt mean anything unless the suspension is all bonzai.
