Just tracked down a brushed black CDC chin spoiler to compliment those black side skirts of mine. Now I'm waiting for spring to attach that and a set of Cervini's window scoops. Aren't you all so excited? ;) I know I am...

Yeah, I'm happy I'm finally starting the process
I went with the brushed black because I sort of like how the black chin spoiler stands out against the color, gives the car more relief from just flat lime. Again, it also matches the color and height of the stock side skirts as well, and I don't have to worry about rocks and debris hitting it or it getting dinged up like it would if it was painted.

Just add the window scoops and the Mustang lettering and thats what she'll look like. I'm excited for spring to come.

Are you going to do anything to add some kind of black trim to the bottom of your car's booty now? So to balance it all out.

That looks like a pic of a Fang. The CDC is a bit smaller which I prefer, like on Full Throttle's ride.

Yeah, i think thats not exactly the one (it is a bit bigger), but it was the only one I could find on a Legend Lime just to get the general looks of it.

Nice ride KngDaka - I was always fond of Legend Lime and was upset when I found out they took it off the options when I was purchasing my 07. She should definitely look nice with the chin spoiler.
On the subject, I'm in a similar situation in that I want the chin spoiler in black to match my rockers and also to balance out the black and blue theme, but I'm in a bind about what to do with the rear end (or if I should just get GT rockers and a painted chin spoiler). After my accident, I had the shop convert me to duals, so I'm now sporting the GT rear end with the lip molding at the bottom, which is in body color. The ideal would have been to have gotten a GT/CS rear end, but too late for that now.
Any thoughts guys?

my opinion is that it looks way better when everything matchs the main color of the car, GT take off rockers are only like $70

Fallout,
I was thinking about GT takeoff rockers, and they were $70 plus another $60 for shipping. The way the GT rockers are, when viewed from the side, are waaay lower than the stock front and rears on our bumpers (something the stock black tries to "hide"). If I went with those, I'd almost be forced into getting at least a rear GT bumper and either a painted chin spoiler ($350 before shipping) or a GT front end, and then I'd have to find a grill to accomodate the new bumper, and then I'd have to pay shop fees....not to mention legend lime is hard to find (I'm a poet and didn't even know it!) So, just dropping $165 for a CDC shipped seemed a little more practical to me, considering I can also do it myself

Thanks for the compliment. As for your pony, if I had the cash, and since you want to keep the black/blue theme, paint the lower trim on your bumper black, and then paint your side rockers and your front chin spoiler black. IMO, I think thats the absolute best look out there when all the lower trim is painted black like that. I wish I could find some pictures, but I have seen it and its absolutely beautiful like that.

Thanks Kngdaka...that's the route my heart tells me to go, but right now it's waiting for the mod funds to catch up. If you ever come across a pic of a pony with the lower molding/lip on the GT bumper(s) painted black, definitely post or PM me as I'd love to see it. Trying to Photoshop it just doesn't work out as well as seeing the real thing.
