When it gets done!!
These days I usually take what I consider to be a realistic estimate, double it, and then double it again. This seems to work out if I work with reasonable regularity.
The 66 was done in about a year, (except for a few loose ends)which is nearly a record for me...

about a month...then 6 months later while its still in the garage on jackstands they ask again and i usually just tell them im almost finished. when i finally did finish it no one believed me.
