I'm not sure if the fox's have them, but on my sn-95 the fluid is routed through a metal tube in front of the radiator. I assume this is a cooler. The problem is I was using the super duper leak-proof stuff from Lucas and it clogged up the cooler, so I bypassed it for a quick fix.
My question is: Is the cooler neccesary for daily driving? If so I can fix the clog or buy a new one before the weather heats up again. I'd just rather not spend the time and money if it's not needed, and I'd rather not find out the hard way by burning up the pump come summertime.
I doubt it is really that necessary unless you plan on doing open track events or autocrossing where you are really working the steering wheel around. If I were in this situation I would replace it just for piece of mind, though.

I added a cooler to my Jeep as it tends to get a bit warm turning the 35's on the rocks in addition to having swapped in a hydroboost. My *guess* is that the SN-95 has the cooler because it has a hydroboost (at least my '98 GT did). If your pump starts growling, you may want to plumb in a new cooler.
