When/where should I sell my 67

skizior -> When/where should I sell my 67 (11/5/2003 10:14:52 AM)

The time has come for me to buy a house so the pony has got to go.  I was wondering about the best time of year to sell my 1967 Fastback.  Should I wait until the spring or now before I put it in storage.  Storage dosen't cost me anything (thanks to the in laws).  Also where would I get the best price for it?  Classified ad, ehay or some other auction?

If you want to check out the car goto

my advise is to fix the little things as it would be more likely the car will go for what you want. In that price range there are alot of car to chose .It's a nice ass car

How many miles is on the car? Also what are some of its features?  What state is it in? and has it been gargae kept or kept outside?  How much do you want for it? That is my dream car. I am a college student. The only way I could buy it is if I made monthly payments or If I waited till I gradute in the may.

$14,000 is on the steep side. Non deluxe interior not a gt not a factory 4bbl car  no A/C DB PS these all lower the cost when they are not options. !2,000 is about right try Ebay it will get the most attention or classic car trader both are good sources.

Stargv2 - Most of those answers are on my web site.  Milage is offically unknown But I suspect over 100k, there is evidence that the engine was rebuild by the previous owner.  She's stored winters, never seen snow, never driven in the rain.

67 Aquafastback-  Could be worse, it could be aqua.  Good god man! Grow a pair, put some hair on 'em and get a paint job to a color a little more...lets say butch. Options are for wusses, they rob horse power, and make the car harder to work on and costlier to maintain.  Besides in the 60s bare bones was the norm.  See if you can find a 67 fastback within 100 miles of Chicago for less.  Good luck. We got a little thing called salt which make cars from the 60s a little more rare here than in CA.

stargv2- I almost forgot, if She don't sell by thanksgiving she's going into winter storage, most likely won't sell her until April sometime.

Well I can see you are a true jack @$$. I really don't care what you think or have to say about the color of my mustang It is the orginal color and I like it so what ever.  As for options PS PDB and A/C would not want it any other way inless I plan on racing. I also got to say the brushed aluminum dash looks much nicer than the standred camera case black. I never said anything negative about your mustang and would have expected the same, but I can see you have a slight problem with your man hood if a color does not fit up to your standards someone needs grow a pair. WTF Well at least I have a house and my stang. Normally I would say good luck but in your case I hope it is good bye.

I have pics of the engine but not before the car was painted and, added chrome to the engine, cleaned the intake manifold and a number of other things.  I need to brake out the camera again.  IN the mean time here is a link to the way it looked when I got the car.

Don't worry, I'm done talking to AquaMan.

I'm suprised you feel that way about the tail pipes, i've gotten some very good feed back on them.
