Hi all, This is my first post, so go easy on me <lol>
I finally purchased my first 'stang, a 2004 40th anniversary model with a 3.8L & a 5 speed, mineral grey exterior & charcoal interior. I've done a few mods (magnaflow catback exhaust, k&n cold air intake, billit dressup goodies) Now it's time to ditch the stock tires & rims. I'm going with an aftermarket bullet style rim (black w/polished lip) but am undecided between 17x9 or 18x9 or the brand. I've seen them in 24mm offset as well as 36mm. On tire brands, I have no idea. I've read some good reviews on Bridgestone Potenza's, Goodyear F1's & Yokahama AVS ES100's. Size wise, I'm thinking either 245-40-18 or 255-45-18 depending on the offset I go with.
