Posting in behalf of the owner of a 1968 Mustang (I am the mechanic). The car currently has a toploader 4 speed from a 69 fairlaine (RUG-AJ) close-ratio, big spline, and Hurst shifter. It also currently has a 750CFM Edelbrock carb on it which is entirely too big (installed by previous owner).

The owner wants an automatic (wants a leisurly cruiserback) and also is looking for a 500CFM Edelbrock to replace the 750CFM Edelbrock that is currently on it. So basically we are looking to trade for a c4 transmission and a 500CFM Edelbrock carb.

We would trade the complete manual transmission setup from the car as it obviously wont be needed anymore. The transmission is in great working order with the exception of the speedometer not working. Replaced the cable and checked the gear and came to the conclusion that the speedo drive gear was to blame. The transmission will come with the necessary gaskets and a new in box replacement speedometer drive gear.

We are located in WA state and obviosly being local would be preffered and make a swap easier.
