The New Knight Rider: 2008 Shelby Mustang GT500KR

Back in 1982, Friday nights meant watching NBC's Knight Rider. What's not to love about high-speed car chases, 1980s futuristic technology, and a car that talks back to you? The only thing wrong with the show was that Michael Knight drove a Pontiac Trans Am. Fast forward to 2007...

Yesterday, the new Knight Rider KITT car (which first leaked onto the internet a few weeks ago) made its official public debut at NBC Studios in Burbank, Calif. Only this time around KITT is a 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR. According to E Online News, the car will appear in NBC's upcoming television movie the new Knight Rider. I don't know about the movie, but I'll tune in for the car.
