I wanty .... thats making me feel uninterested in the 2.3l !
You need the other components though, so you need to get a kit then sell the head unit. Call Adam and tell him what your looking for, I am sure he could source all the parts from the 2.3 w/o the head unit and then get you a 3.4.
Hey Sawyer, Congrats on all the work and money put into the car and Adam taking care of you. Sorry the HP is not what you are expecting but they are very good numbers to say the least IMHO. I did get my tune fixed by my installer and she starts right up in 15 degree weather now (just thought I would update you) and the 3.4L Whipple I am sure you will be happy with in the long run. I mean it makes sense more air you push in the more HP you get out of it for the most part and this bigger S/C will change those numbers FTW!!!!!!!!!!! Have a great New year and talk with you soon! J
The numbers are great, but with all the components I have added it should put more HP down. I am happy to be the test mule though. Happy to hear your car is running smooth again Happy new year to you as well!!
There's a guy on NLOC who is pushing 900+hp with the 3.4, and there is still alot more in it. I'll be doing Whipple when I get rid of the eaton, but I won't go 3.4. Not yet anyway.
What kind of car is he pushing 900 on, a s197, or 03/04 Cobra?
It was a lightning built by Dante's Modular Performance. Ran a 9.54
JR Lewis who's a good friend of ours ran a 9.23@145 with the 3.4L on an 03 Cobra. All boost no N20. 27lbs, Auto and a built longblock by Johhny@ Johnny Lightning Performance
Ken Tingle another good friend and customer of ours ran a 9.84 with a 3.4L@25psi on the stock 03 Cobra motor. 6 speed with an IRS.

You're looking at about $2400 for the compressor itself and another $300-350 depending on what snout/drive you need for your setup.
Jared
Jared, do you guys sell the kit without the head unit?
There's no actual kit available. One person made a custom discharge plate and plenum. Besides that I haven't heard of anything else going into production. Jared
Ok so we cannot physically buy the part needed to fit the 3.4L head unit on our cars?
Adam at ST Motorsports has the first Whipple 2.3 to 3.4 conversion and he made the plate (that car laid down 720 rwhp at 20psi). He is now making a plate for my 2.6L KB manifold. If you want the plate I would give adam a call.
who knows, theres a lot of crazy guys down here also. Not that i´m getting a 3.4 kit in the next few months, but when I´m ready I´ll ask ST for a kit for sure !
I am considering building an engine and supercharging it. I can't help thinking how cool it would be to drop in the 5.4 liter v8 with the 3.8 liter whipple. That would be wicked!
