I asked the guy at the suspension place and he told me the Bilsteins give the best ride quality. Anyone here using those shocks/struts? What about the Tokico D-Specs at a very soft setting?? I want the smoothest ride I can get with my Pro-kit and 18's. I don't race, just hard street driving..Thanks a lot Paul

i think more people have bilsteins than tokiko dspecs partially because bilsteins have been along a lot longer than the dspecs... more is known about the bilsteins.. id like to hear a comparison myself. cant go wrong with either.
Thanks, I'm probably going with the Bilsteins. I recently injured my back, so I really need to smooth the ride out..Too bad I can't write it off as a medical expense.

koni or kyb adjustables. i dont recommend tokicos i had two sets blow out on me within a few months before i switched to kybs. the ideal set up though is the new suspension package from airRIDE. check out there web site. its an airbag set up that is fully tuneable from a soft granny ride to a slammed race ready at the flick of a switch. http://airride.com/news/default.asp?mode=teaser
Holy crap -those AirRide shocks are exactly what I want, but I can't justify $4000 for the set (or can i?, hmmm-not really, oh well).. So, I hate to say it, but I really want a "semi-granny, maybe like in the mid to late 50's ride" , due to aforementioned back injuries. Exactly how soft are the Tockicos on the soft setting? And do the Bilsteins really provide a superior ride quality?? Thanks. Like I said- I really don't want to spend $600 on shocks and install and have too harsh of a ride.
