Idling at 2500 rpm - 4/24/2003 9:41:15 PM    kornfan_88   Posts: 176 Joined: 2/23/2003 From: United States Status: offline Alright, my car just started idling really high, even at normal operating temperatures. I have repleced the IAC and the TPS, and this was a couple months ago. I just had some work done on it and the guy said it should have its fuel system cleaned (TB, injectors etc). What could really be the problem? Sometimes if I punch the accelorator a couple times it comes back down. Does something need lubing or what? Thanks. Patrick Post #: 1

Idling at 2500 rpm - 4/28/2003 3:27:59 PM    DougBlevins   Posts: 72 Joined: 1/20/2003 From: United States Status: offline take your throttle body off and make sure it's not hanging up on the inside. get some throttle body cleaner and some fine sandpaper or scotch pad and smooth out the inside of the throttle body. also, make sure none of ur vaccum lines have come unplugged. they all come out of a harness behind the throttle body and to the left.
