my 95 mustang has these small shocks that are horizontal, orieleys and auto zone dont know what they are, and the ford dealership wants 90 bucks a piece for them, where can i find something to replace them with? i would like to beef it up a bit back there, its got alot of play while shifting through the gears

They are called quad shocks. They help prevent wheel hop. Replace your upper and lower control arms w/ good aftermarket ones, and you can ditch the quads.

yeah get some nice upper and lower control arms and ditch those things. the play you might be feeling could be a number of things from u joints to bad bushings but a nice set of control arms takes care of the bushing part
