I just got a used 2007 convertible. When I put the top down it looks to me like it's not going down all the way but I'm not sure what normal is. Should it be flush? Here are some pictures so you can see what it's doing.

I think that is normal - I can't find a close up right now, and it is too cold here to put the top down today.  Here is what I can find of mine:
