i know i am going to be a typical mustang owner.  but after getting my a** handed to me in front of my girl friend by a turbo porsche i am buying a super charger. do any of you guys run them. I am having a hard time chosing between keene bell and a pro charger. either way i go i want to run around 11pounds of boost. with either a after cooler or intercooler. it will be mostly a drag car but also want some top end for smashing on those quick cars with factory forced induction. so any one run both and prefere one more than the other. i know this has been asked before but want first hand experiences. (man that porsche was fast though. he told me he was low 12's but thats a freakin high way car. just walked on me bad.)
I have a naturally aspirated 347. I was getting on the freeway and saw a new turbo Porsche in front of me. (Now this is a long sloping 180 degree on ramp) I decided to see how I would stand up to him, so I dropped it in second and got on his ass. There was a van in front of him so he had to wait until we got on the freeway before he switched into the middle lane and stomped on it! As I seen his rear squat and dark smoke bellow out of his exhaust I knew it was on!! I stomped on it threw 2nd and into 3rd and was on his ass in no time! The freeway was crowded so I could not pass him and by the time we were up to 120mph we had to shut down because of the wall of cars ahead of us. He then pulled beside me rolled down his window a gave me the thumbs up. So maybe think of a 347?

Yes, that means an initial rich mixture at WOT.

But new Porsche Turbos do not run that rich... not for DARK smoke to BELLOW out of the exhaust.  I watched a GT2 Porsche on the dyno this weekend, and it had hardly a trace of smoke at WOT.

Yeah, but Dyno runs are a lot smoother than real life driving. This gives the computer time to react to load changes.
