how many rolls did you use?
The nice thing about eDead is you order by the square foot, in any amount you want. I ordered 140 square feet of the $1.60 type. If you go much more than this the shipping costs gets too high because they ship it in two boxes instead of one.
I did the firewall, roof, floors, trunk, wheel wells, quarter panels, and the doors. I am pretty much done and have a roll left over, which is probably about 25 square feet. So I'm just going to double layer my firewall and other places for better deadening.
So depending on how much of your car you plan on doing depends on how much to order. If you're doing what I did I'd say 125ish would be good. At first I thought 140 was wayyyy tooo much by the looks of it, but it seems like a good amount.

ya wondering how much to order also! also wondering did they paint the interior and then you installed the e dead?
Oh yeah, My interior was mostly painted because they replaced the floor pans, so they just like undercoated and painted pretty much everywhere haha. I would say to paint the interior before hand for peace of mind, but it shouldn't make a difference in the installation of the eDead.
And BTW I used a heat gun while rolling it on, the heat helps to make the material more sticky and it rolls on and seals better. So i would highly recommend the use a heat gun while using this, mine is just a cheapy from harbor freight. You could try a hair dryer, but i think you would be there all day with it.
EDIT: here's my interior before I put in the eDead. I have pics of everything so let me know if you want to see anything

David,
Top notch!!! Call me crazy, but I'd put some stock looking wheels on it and skip the spoiler and louvers. I knew the color would look sharp, but W-O-W! Remember, patience will save you scratches during reassembly. I already have a few nicks in mine, one from the garage door and the other from my five year old crashing on his bike .

Have fun! Jeff
Thanks Jeff! I'm still thinking as to what I what to do with the spoilers and louvers, these mach 1's look great both ways! And as for stock looking wheels..... I know magnum 500's were an option.... so I think I'll get some of those I'm just in love with those wheels, but the ones that came on the car will have to do for now, and they arn't half bad
Funny stories about the nicks in the paint! I remember hitting a car on my bike when I was younger... as well as a curb, the sidewalk with my face, and many other times hahaha
wow....that looks beautiful. i really like how you undercoated the whole interior and used that sound stuff....im pretty sure im going to do that with mine as well. congrats on the early xmas gift you got me jealous

David, www.cjponyparts.com has Magnum500 kits that arent too bad. I've seen cheaper, but they are always high quality stuff. You might be able to do better since there's alot of stores out there in Cali, but for the set I want its 660 for the wheels, lugs, valves, and caps. Comon tax season!
Your car is looking GREAT! A guy down the street from me has a '70 Mach with the same color. I'm sure your car will look just as awesome as his does when you get it finished.
