I am selling her. I am selling it for 3 grand and will not go lower than 2500. I am very sad and don't want to do it, but I want to supercharge a 94/95, or 99-04 stang. Plus the II isn't really ideal for me. Too many things and money into her and she keeps failing. I just bought a 88 accord though so I do have a car I can fall back on.

wait.....

you bought a honda, and your selling your II?

WTF is wrong with you *smack smack*

in all seriousness though - if you sell your car you ARE going to regret it because they are getting harder and harder to find and you know it.

Haha I know they are I know they are. They are a bitch to work on though. Engineering disaster from ford. But something a little newerdwould be in my best interest. Then when I get my career job, i'll get maybe an old chevy like a nova or camaro and fix that up. Or an old fastback.

You think I can get at least 3 grand out of mine?

Body is straight with one dent that is noticeable. I didn't put any chips or dents on the car, I bought it like that. Scratches on it, few small rust spots. But it's pretty good.

here's what i dont get: you already have a DD for getting around town, why sell this car just to buy a later model sh*tbox? your talking SN95's and NE's and guess what? 4.6 SOHC motors suck balls. i know it, everyone else here knows it, dont you know it?

even if you want to tinker with something else - save up some money and get another car. just park that one and throw a cover on it cause i PROMISE you if you sell that car you will regret it in a couple years.

I want the 94/95 stang. 5.0 302 too but efi. But I like those stangs, but this car is just idk, it was fun to work on and all, but I can do this to another car someother time when I get the time to do it. Just something a little more reliable too.

Buy a EFI 5.0 parts car, move all the EFI crap over, and there you go, EFI

yup.

theres nothing unreliable about a 302 even in carb'd form, C4's are tough as nails, and everything else is super simple and basic - which also equals cheap when something DOES break

UPDATE:

I'm not going to sell my II!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to give the motor to my engine builder have him build a mean engine. about 4 grand. I'm shooting for 400-450 hp. My dad said that I don't have a good enough or strong enough tranny to support that along with the rear end.

Now my question IS!?- What tranny for an affordable price can I put in her along with a rearend? I can afford the rebuild maybe not 400 hp, but 375 would work. But what tranny and rear end can support that?

The stock 8" rear will handle that amount of power just fine.  The tires are more of an issue.

Didn't realize you were talking about a 74 til your picture loaded all the way. How could you even think of selling it? 74 fastbacks are almost extinct around here....
