Hello everyone! Im new to the forum & looking for suggestions & any helpful information that I should know about my 2003 cobra. It has 19,000mi on it & is in prestige condition. Red with Tan convertible top w/black leather & tan suede inserts. THis car is beyond my wildest dreams that are fuinally a reality! I started out 16 with a V^ mustang & now Im 22 with a cobra! Anyways, what are good starter upgrades? Also, whats a good transmission fluid to use? Is 5w-30 or 10w-30 oil ok to use in this car? ANy input is much appreciated!

1) welcome to the boards. 2) just use regular automatic tranny fluid.
and for the mods, add a smaller pulley, tb, intake, and full exhaust......YOULL EASILY be at 420+whp. so, you got the main ingredient(the car), now, all you have to is decide how much $$ you want to spend and how fast you want to go. so, have fun. btw, what color is it ??

Congrats on the Cobra....sounds like a nice find. Post up some pics. Also listen for valve train noise..if its there it can be fixed while you have warranty left.

Sold the 01GT and now Starting all over again, this time looking for a 89-93 GT to supercharge.
Great buy. I wish I had went with a Corba from the start. Now I find myself adding all type s of after-market items to the GT I own now just to give it a little bit more bit!! Best of Luck with the Corba!!!
