So having owned your Mustangs for a while, what would you change about the car the way it comes from the factory? i.e. features that you'd change or add/subtract if you were running product planning for the Mustang line. These should be achievable during a midyear 'freshening', so as much as I'd like to see "improved interior materials" I don't think that would be right for this list, as it would predicate a major overhaul of the basic design.Mine:Mirrors painted body colorGT should have a different spoiler than the v6, a la ducktail/GT5001/2 - 1" lowerAdd another freaking hook to the floormats Leather handbrake cover and armrest coverShort-throw shifterReal 'carpet' trunk mat+50 HP, possible for a midyear makeover I thinkSport seatsWhat do you think?

this is a good question, though a difficult one. if it's a mid-year "refresher" kind of thing, i can't see too many major changes happening, realistically thinking.
but trying to be as practical as possible, i'd like to see:
1. interior changes - there'a quite a few little touches that could be added that would spruce things up a bit, i.e. chrome, faux carbon fiber, etc.accents, leather e-brake handle and console lid (like the op suggests), floor mat options, etc.
2. how about a chin spoiler something along the lines of the gt500 one that actually fits the gt perfectly?
3. and maybe rear spoiler choices, i.e. duck-tail
1.- Interior trunk release
2.- Leather steering wheel
3.- Ducktail spoiler
4.- A decent storage compartment where I could fit the user manual, because it does not fit on the Glove Box and it takes up almost the whole center console.
5.- Sequential tail lights
1 a cup holder in a position that I didn't have to put my elbow in my big gulp to change gears
2 interior lights in a position to be able to actually see into the back seat
+1

Wait a minute....I have a leather steering wheel.

Some good additions - I had forgotten about the lousy cupholder and interior trunk release. I would add integrating the remote buttons into the key and giving them some RANGE. I can trigger my wife's Pilot from across the state, but oftentimes my Mustang won't lock without multiple attempts even though I'm right next to it.
