this may sound like a newbie question but will a 6 speed help any in 1/4 mile?
Not really. Mods to your motor and upgrades to your suspension will improve your 1/4 times. The 6 speed will give you a lower fianl ratio lower your rpms at highway speeds. Look at this way, you will probably cross the traps in 1/4 in the same gear whether it's a 5 or 6 speed.

my personal opinion....dont do the swap unless its the viper spec t56. it has the .50:1 overdrive ratio which would help a bunch on the highway. the normal overdrive ratio is like .6x somthin so you could basically run one step higher gear and you'll be running the same rpm in OD

I refuse to answer - this seems like something that could show up in court one day.
Really it helps road racing cause you have a higher 5th, 4th are the same i believe

which tko could you put in it, and does anyone sell a conversion kit for that??? I've been thinking of doing this myself because of all the highway driving that i do
well call me crazy but in a 5 speed direct is 4th gear and in a 6 speed it would be 5th gear, closer gear ratio= faster acceleration, isnt that why we put lower gear ratios in our rear ends?
