what are my options? just the tremec or what? also what will i need for the swap, and how much am i looking at spending? i h ave a 95 mustang gt coupe, thanx for any help!!

Not really.  Mods to your motor and upgrades to your suspension will improve your 1/4 times.  The 6 speed will give you a lower fianl ratio lower your rpms at highway speeds.  Look at this way, you will probably cross the traps in 1/4 in the same gear whether it's a 5 or 6 speed.

my personal opinion....dont do the swap unless its the viper spec t56. it has the .50:1 overdrive ratio which would help a bunch on the highway. the normal overdrive ratio is like .6x somthin so you could basically run one step higher gear and you'll be running the same rpm in OD

Really it helps road racing cause you have a higher 5th, 4th are the same i believe

Overdrive in a T5 is like .72.  In a T-56 4th is 1:1 5th is .7x and 6th is .5

which tko could you put in it, and does anyone sell a conversion kit for that??? I've been thinking of doing this myself because of all the highway driving that i do

well call me crazy but in a 5 speed direct is 4th gear and in a 6 speed it would be 5th gear, closer gear ratio= faster acceleration, isnt that why we put lower gear ratios in our rear ends?
