my bullitt with intake exhuast no tune 3.73 gears trapped 106 and ran low low 13s on bald street tires with the stock wheels all around... i have never seen a bolt on gt run anywhere near that.... and i never once ran into a gt on the street that could hold a candle to my car with similar mods... so i would say no

Bullitts only had a 5 to 10 hp difference over the new edge. The Bullitts suspension is a world apart though, that was the main difference. I would say you should have a slight edge over one.

bullits are nothing special, they have a different intake manifold, maby some different exhaust parts and suspension.gt=260hp bullit=265hp LOOK OUT! a bolt on gt should rape a stock bullit

Your buillit is nothign more, and nothing less, than a GT with a slightly tuned (not as good as aftermarket) suspension system and a fancy aluminum intake that does nothing till you port it AND run FI.

A bolton GT will walk off on a buillit, just like a bolton GT will walk off on a stock gt.

Was your bullit actually codename for a LS1?

There are people who say Bullits are = to GT's
There's people who then say Bullits are slightly better than GT's.
Some say that Bullits are GREATLY underrated compared to GT's.
Then there's you. Low Low 13's on a crappy 60' and a 106 Trap.

my 00 GT could roast through 2nd easy if I tried, in fact any mustang here should be able to. If you say ur car cant then the problem is probably you expect it to do it from a roll or just a quick hammer on. not the case for really any car. The bullit and GT are basically the same. the major engine components are IDENTICAL, and we all know how well the 2v takes to intake mods [:'(]. so if you have full boltons you would be about where my gt was ~260/305rw and basically smoke a bullit. that other dude with the 106 trap must be racing downhill [&:]

this has nothing to do with racing but i've seen a bullitt roast em in 1st and take of and then go to 2nd and keep on roasting them. and it has 100k miles and is run like a beaten dog. and an 01 cobra and my GT cant do that.
OMG are you serious? lol you could do that in a stock civic....

u mean squealing tires doesnt mean its fast? [8D]

you guys obvisously did not watch that test they did... the Bullitt beat the GT and 01 COBRA!!!, the Bullitt has 1,000 more hp and the ulitmate drag racing suspension! they sell for about 30k dollars with 50k or more miles on them, you have look real hard though... because they only made 5,000 of them, a definite collector car!
