Does anyone know if the new Ford Racing Bullitt CAI is available for the reg S197 Stang? I can't find it in the Ford website. And would it fit? It should I would think.,and would it need a new program tune or would the previous tune for the Ford Racing cai work?

From what I've seen the Bullitt CAI isn't availavle yet. A few of the parts are being sold but not the CAI. I don't see why it wouldn't fit on the GT the bullitt is basically the same thing. I don't know enough about the ford tuner to let you know on that.
This would be the guy to ask...

I'd imagine it's the same Ford Racing CAI as previous years, it's just a standard option on the bullit.

No, the Ford Racing cai is different on the Bullitt than on the GT

I was at the PRI (Performance Racing Industries) trade show in Orlando a couple of weeks ago and talked to a FRPP marketing guy. He said that the new Ford CAI as used in the Bullett is their own design. Their previous CAI was a re-labeled Steeda product. They were displaying the new CAI and said that it would be available as an after market item shortly. By the way, the filter housing looks pretty cool.

No, the FRPP marketing guy said that the previous tune would work fine. The new kit uses the stock inlet elbow as before.
