RWD cars have torque steer?

V-6 is for real drivers. Go buy a Jetta if you want gas mileage and a chicks car. Buy a V-8 Mustang if you have no driving ability and need the extra horsepower to compensate and feel like you''''re fast.

your tranny is the shortcoming, not the engine.   you fully build a 4.6 and you can run just fine. btw, are you running a t5 in that car still?

doesnt an 02 gt come with a 3650?

Yes.

I converted over from Automatic Aode.

it would pull on you just about as bad as it pulls from me.

u maybe have more rwhp, but i have more rwtq and weigh less, and im geared more for the highway

3.27's? Good for top end. That is about it.

You have more torque? Torque is what makes the pull hard....

Who wins in the same car:  500 whp 450 TQ or 450 whp and 500 TQ?

The one with 500whp.

it GREATLY depends on how which one is making its power.

if the one with 450tq and 500hp makes 450tq at like 5000rpm, and 500hp at 6500rpm, and the other one makes 450rwhp at 5000rpm, and 500tq from 4000-6000rpm im going to go with the 450hp/500tq one

450 whp at 5000 rpm and 500 TQ at 4000 rpm. Can you imagine the pull on that engine? The torque steer can jack you up on the curb on street tires.  50 mph to 130 would be quite a feeling.

yes i can imagine lol  its what my car does lol

454/515  and thats from a stock blocked v6 :)

Freakin A.

Mine dam sure does -- on street tires....
Pulls hard into the curb -- passenger side. On Drag Radials, much better. Hooks up straight.

that's not torque steer... that's your freaking tires not getting traction and floating the front of your car to one side while you bog, torque steer is a completely different matter, drive a 2006 eclpise GT and you will see what major torque steer is

I've always read/heard of torque steer being referenced to FWD cars literally tugging the wheel left/right at WOT.  I think you guys are referring more to "breaking the rear loose" unless I'm mistaken.

How did you ever get those numbers out of a V6?  That is Smokey Yurmick (spell?) territory.... If I am not mistaken, back in the early 80's he built V6 Indy engines V6's that put out those numbers.
