that car does have an amazin 3rd gear. the one i raced we were almost even through 1st, few cars in 2nd ahead of me, then in 3rd it was almost like i stopped accelerating.
My 3rd gear is quite good too, but I don't think it is anything as that. I know a Z06 will spin in all of 1st and 2nd but can it do it in 3rd? And for how long? I just get a loud bark after spinning out in 1st and 2nd.

Don't forget how long your 3rd gear lasts MPH wise compared to a C6 Z06. Yours lasts up to maybe 80mph? While the Z06 goes up to 120 mph....

it would pull on you just about as bad as it pulls from me.
u maybe have more rwhp, but i have more rwtq and weigh less, and im geared more for the highway

3.27's? Good for top end. That is about it.
You have more torque? Torque is what makes the pull hard....
Who wins in the same car: 500 whp 450 TQ or 450 whp and 500 TQ?
The one with 500whp.

yes i have more torque. unless you have magical cams with a centri that somehow make MORE torque than rwhp, then yes i have more torque.
and i have 3.31s

it GREATLY depends on how which one is making its power.
if the one with 450tq and 500hp makes 450tq at like 5000rpm, and 500hp at 6500rpm, and the other one makes 450rwhp at 5000rpm, and 500tq from 4000-6000rpm im going to go with the 450hp/500tq one

your tranny is the shortcoming, not the engine. you fully build a 4.6 and you can run just fine. btw, are you running a t5 in that car still?

doesnt an 02 gt come with a 3650?
