Don't forget how long your 3rd gear lasts MPH wise compared to a C6 Z06.  Yours lasts up to maybe 80mph?  While the Z06 goes up to 120 mph....

u maybe have more rwhp, but i have more rwtq and weigh less, and im geared more for the highway

I redline at 6600 rpm. I am running 3.73's with a Tremec 5 speed.  In 3rd gear, my shift light blinks at 88 mph -- I am at 6200 rpm.

I see your point.

I can't make that comparison.

yes i have more torque. unless you have magical cams with a centri that somehow make MORE torque than rwhp, then yes i have more torque.

and i have 3.31s

it GREATLY depends on how which one is making its power.

if the one with 450tq and 500hp makes 450tq at like 5000rpm, and 500hp at 6500rpm, and the other one makes 450rwhp at 5000rpm, and 500tq from 4000-6000rpm im going to go with the 450hp/500tq one

Your second gear ends when my 3rd gear ends.  Your forth gear ends when I am at redline in 5th.

A fine engine.

I don't think the 4.6 2V can be built up to match the Z06 engine.

your tranny is the shortcoming, not the engine.   you fully build a 4.6 and you can run just fine. btw, are you running a t5 in that car still?

not sure when they made the switch.....   either way the tranny shouldnt hold 500rwhp.  and actually I didnt think 15psi would make those numbers anyways.... but I could be wrong

450 whp at 5000 rpm and 500 TQ at 4000 rpm. Can you imagine the pull on that engine? The torque steer can jack you up on the curb on street tires.  50 mph to 130 would be quite a feeling.
