If I had a C6 Z06 I'd be showing it off.  Any car enthusiast knows its a bad @ss car!

Yeah, but Rogers says it is just a piece of "damm plastic".

Indeed it is. As much as you want to believe, I am not obsessed with this car. It's fast, fun to drive and I enjoy it for the for the most part. But when people like yourself come in here with an inferiority complex, It just reminds me why I don't bring the car up much any way. Or post my kill stories. I enjoy my interactions with the guys in here. They're very educated  about cars in general. Besides that, I like to inform those who may have questions about  my car. We share stories and enjoy each others company. You on the other hand, have serious issues. (No seriously) Get over your own short comings on go buy whatever your dream car is. Nothing was given to me..and unlike yourself, I don't live with my parents. The money I spent on mods for this car totals up to around $3500. How much did you spend on yours? Now tell me who's trying to boost their image?

All you put in to your Z06 is $3500? Come on, Rogers. I know better than that.

I can say I put $23k in parts and another 7k in labor into my Mustang. I paid $24,600 new in May 02.   All in all, I still put 12 to 15K less into my car than you did all told.

Yet, you car does look better -- I admit.  Who's is faster? I don't know. I have a 11.08 second clocking at track.  I didn't drive it to that time, my mechanic did.... I can't shift that fast.

Can you Z06 better that time? If not, then for 15k less, I didn't do too bad.

By the way, you  do have a beautiful car.

Ok, your mustang could keep up in a strait line... now lets see them go around a corner.

That will justify your price difference... along with all the style and everything else the vette comes with.

Look at my pictures. I have a FULLY built suspension. Maxinum Motor Sports Coilovers all around with Bilstein (spell?) shocks, MMS Full length subs (welded), Steeda Blue Sway bars, Steeda Control arms, upper and lower.

Trust me, my 02 can corner with Rogers' Z06 and most of the rest. It is set up for highway.

Hurricane CAI $400
Long tube ceramic coated headers/x pipe $2000
Installation and  dyno tune $800
(Exhaust fuse removed) $ forgot but it was cheap
Tax/miscellaneous expenses $ 200

Total $3400

As mentioned before a BONE STOCK Z06 has ran high 10s. Could I pull that off? With more practice sure...considering my mods.

The 60 foot times are relatively slow for a 10.981 clocking.  Bone stock? That car must have an AMAZING 3rd gear pull to do that.

128.9mph on a bone stock 500hp car....... thats really really pushin it.  that other guy was doin like 126, 127 right?

its too easy to hide a tune and weight reduction.

not impossible, but its like a stock s197 gt trapping 106 or 107, itd be hard to believe.

I still dont think it could.  The Z06 has beaten several cars around the top gear track including, but not limited to:
Ferrari F430
Lamborghini Murcielago
Noble M15
Pagani Zognda
Koenigseg
Noble M400
Lotus Exige S

Your talking about some of the best handling cars in the world.  Its going to take more than what you got to keep up in my opinion.

I see. Okay.

The LT's are mandatory.  $800 labor tune included. Very good price.

How much power did the LT's put out in itself?

I see. Okay.

The LT's are mandatory.  $800 labor tune included. Very good price.

How much power did the LT's put out in itself?

They were good for a good 30hp w/o the tune.
The CAI helped a bit but the tune added even more pawer and synced everything together.
