There's no reason to not believe Mr. Rogers, I agree with him that the Z06 is not like an unattainable car or anything. I work in real estate too and have sold houses to many real estate investors. If you're smart and know what to do, you can make enough profit rom flipping just one house to pay for a C6 Z06 in cash. Or even if you don't flip it and have owned it for a while, you could pull out a HELOC and when you decide to sell the house your car is already paid for.

I ran into a Viper not long ago at a stoplight, with a young guy driving, prob 5 or so years older than me. He wouldn't run me either. Of course, this guy has a couple C5's, a NSX, two Vipers that I know of, a C4, and God knows what else. I'm sure he could tell that it wasn't a run of the mill f-body, probably like the Viper you ran into.
Bottom line is, your car sucks Mr. R. No one wants it....not even me....

They did not use the same motor. The Lightning had a 2v, iron block 5.4L. The GT had a 4v aluminum block 5.4L. There are more differences but you get the point.

mr rogers is usually just around giving good tech information. 90% of the time the fact that he has a z06 only comes out because its in his sig. you have always been on his case, but honestly, he never had any need to justify himself to you or anyone because he wasnt running his mouth about his car.
pat yourself on the back if you'd like, but really all you accomplished is making yourself look like a ragging (not to be confused with raging) bitch, and nothing changed for rogers, because people believed him anyways. hell, there are people around here with GT500's that nobody questions, and they are selling damn near the same. But some random with a fully built GT with a questionable and novice build claiming all sorts of strange stories and doing nothing but throwing a bitchfest when the bsflag is thrown is something to question.

I haven't taken the car to the track yet. And the and the one video I have is low quality with no excitement. I will shoot one this weekend when it stops raining and post it for ya. Everyone asks me about my track times. The car is a track virgin. My C5 Z06 was the track car.

Thanks for saving me some typing time. I didn't have a sig for at least 5 months after I bought the car. It's not about showing off at all. But if someone wants pics I have no problem posting them. Again this is not a Ferrari, Lambo or Porsche..it's a damn plastic, poor mans sportscar. Yet people still doubt...lol
