Now an 08 would be a decent race, with a slight advantage to you. I think with a modded zo6, you are going to have to head to the race track to run into anything that can hand your ass to you.

That is a race I would love to see. With your mods and driving skills it would be tough on the Viper, but the new ones did come out on top of the Z0s in every performance category.....at least in C&D. Yes, I know, mag racing [8D]

I have never taken this car to the track. When I had my C5 Z06 I was there all the time. Atleast for the first few months. Truth is, i'm not much of a track guy anymore. I'm sure I would do well once I get back in the swing of things, but i'm having to much fun on the streets.

I went to Cormier Chevrolet to have my oil changed yesterday and they had18new Z06's sitting outside. So if I wanted to lie, I could have picked a much more exotic car to boast my "pseudo" image. There's no reason to not believe Mr. Rogers, I agree with him that the Z06 is not like an unattainable car or anything. I work in real estate too and have sold houses to many real estate investors. If you're smart and know what to do, you can make enough profit rom flipping just one house to pay for a C6 Z06 in cash. Or even if you don't flip it and have owned it for a while, you could pull out a HELOC and when you decide to sell the house your car is already paid for.

mr rogers is usually just around giving good tech information. 90% of the time the fact that he has a z06 only comes out because its in his sig. you have always been on his case, but honestly, he never had any need to justify himself to you or anyone because he wasnt running his mouth about his car.

I haven'ttaken the car to the track yet. And the and the one video I have is low quality with no excitement. I will shoot one this weekend when it stops raining and post it for ya. Everyone asks me about my track times. The car is a track virgin. My C5 Z06 was the track car.

Look at my pictures. I have a FULLY built suspension. Maxinum Motor Sports Coilovers all around with Bilstein (spell?)shocks, MMS Full length subs (welded), Steeda Blue Sway bars, Steeda Control arms, upper and lower.

Trust me, my 02 cancorner with Rogers' Z06 and most of the rest. It is set up for highway.

I redline at 6600 rpm. I am running 3.73's with a Tremec 5 speed. In 3rd gear, my shift light blinks at 88 mph -- I am at 6200 rpm.

Your second gear ends when my 3rd gear ends. Your forth gear ends when I am at redline in 5th.

I don't think the 4.6 2V can be built up to match the Z06 engine.

not sure when they made the switch..... either way the tranny shouldnt hold 500rwhp. and actually I didnt think 15psi would make those numbers anyways.... but I could be wrong

The 3650 Tremec is a good tranny but it EATS UP throw out bearings.

How did you ever get those numbers out of a V6? That is Smokey Yurmick(spell?)territory.... If I am not mistaken, back in the early 80's he built V6 Indy engines V6's that put out those numbers.

I've joined forum back in 11/04 -- longer than most active members. From day one, you guys put me up against a wall. All I tried to do is gain acceptance. But the harder I tried, the more infurriated some of you guys acted toward me. I don't know if is because I am a woman on a man's forum or because I am a woman with a heavly modded Mustang? I don't know. My mistake was that I get defensive and act out of my true character. I have a deep interest in Mustangs. I want to learn as much about these fantasticcars as I can. Many minds are better than oneto gain insight.

Thats nothing, I was racing michael schoumauker in his F1 car on I-75 last week. I hung with him till about 220 and then he started to pull. But then he spun out and we started getting chased by these elbino terroist. Long story short, the FBI cut us a deal and we were on CNN that night:D

As we speak, my Mustang is being fitted with a water/met kit with all the bells and whistles. My timing will be advanced and that adjustment should bring out about 22 to28 RWHP in my engine. I will be close to 550 rwhp. Good power.

Tell you guy to take it to Englishtown, NJ any weekend it is open. Ilive about one hour and 10 mins away providing that the NJ Turnpike is clear.

As we speak, my Mustang is being fitted with a water/met kit with all the bells and whistles. My timing will be advanced and that adjustment should bring out about 22 to28 RWHP in my engine. I will be close to 550 rwhp. Good power.
