ORIGINAL: MUSTANGRIDAH4LIFE There are so many haters here.STOP HATING, Janine you are hot and have a sweet ride,it obviously takes a good looking person with high self esteem to post pics on here. take it from one of the real ones (me) on here who have confidence to actualy post a pic of themselves on here. That is why most of the people on here dont post pics of themselves, its all about hiding behind a screen and talkin b.s. that the majority of you would never have the balls to say face to face. Oh and i think vettes are sweet 2. Thank you. Honestly, I felt a great deal of anxiety about the picture thing, but I managed to do it and considering how it ultimately turned out, am glad I did. As far as haters, I think in general these guys like to get a few laughs off people. While some may actually feel good about themselves putting people down, I think most of it is out of peer pressure -- to make themselves look good. After all, people are what they think others think about them.... I actually understand this but it is a cognitive distortion of reality. Anyway, Mr. Rogers Vette is absolutely awesome and I think it outshines practically all cars I've seen on this forum -- at least I certainly think so. My hats off to him. janine, take notice of the fact that i dont hassle any of the other women on this forum. aside from jokingly saying that i hated SPC in my sig, ive never had words with any other women on this site, but come on....youve brought it all upon yourself. and i will again point out that i wasnt "hating" on the picture...i never insulted your look...i simply said that you looked slutty...i assumed that was your aim in that picture...i dont imagine that you took it to send to grandma for christmas... however, i give you the hassle that i do, simply because youve been caught several times running your mouth and not backing it up, like calling out mr rogers here...and your stories..and the alter ego. i had some fun and took the pictures down...youve done enough here that i could ban you, but i let you stick around because no one hates you....but youll have to always expect a little dig here and there.

Is not a 460 a Ford BB? The Chevelle SS came with 396's right? Or was that just in 1969? Those big heavy old school solid lifter 6.5L engines with 4 bolt mains, 2.19 intake valves/1.88 Exhaust, a bore and stroke at 4.094 in by 3.76, Mallory dual point distributors, and big Yellow Accel Super Coils would have little chance against the fabulous small engine technology of today. Really which is better a computerized GT induction set up with 42lb injects 90mm MAF or a Weiland or Elderbrock Tunnel ram with 2 Holley 850 double pumpers with mechanical secondaries and oversized jets? For it's time, only the 427 matched it. Which 427 would you rather have: chevy or Ford? Good question.

All I can think of is advancing the distributor, and by play around with the air and fuel mixture with a screw driver on the carb or change Champion plugs hot or cold. What else? Today, all you need it to get one of those hand held tuners and set a tune....
