We have been running my 1966 GT350 in vintage races on the west coast since 1989
At SAAC 27 I came in 13th out of 52 cars I started in the 25th position
my crew and I came to the conclusion that the fastest vintage Shelby cars in the world ran in this race, no car finishing ahead of us at SAAC27 that was street legal.
street legal being defined as having a plate and up to date registration also in the past we cant remember any street legal car finishing ahead of us we usually finish mid to front pack
So we are claiming worlds fastest GT350 street legal shelby
I got 6S1159 in 1984 and from day 1 knew i wanted to have a race car i could drive on the street this limites many of the modification you would do to the car.
