Hhaha there is actually a security gaurd at work that say "Everytime I see your car I think of night rider!!" That's hillarious!!

As for this car um I think it isn't put together that well. Maybe I should give em some advice. jp;)

Ok 1st I LOVE those quarter window scoops (its like the flushmount of scoops) Second, Kitt is a pontiac, not a ford.

I have aslo heard that the Kitt featured in the 2008 movie is going to be a Koenigsegg CCX (an exoctic)

Thirdly: I hate the scoops and the Double Wing (?)

Finally: It doesnt look that special, it has a bunch of cheap looking mods, and is basically the same body as the 500KR. JMO

Thanks for the clip at least now I can see where that double ricer wing and enormous side scoops come in. For those of you who did not take advantage of the full clip when KITT goes into attack mode like in the later parts of the first series the double wing and side scoops are exposed. As for as the raised headlight splitters, I kind of like the idea. I actually like them better than the normal headlight splitters.

Its ok but KITT is a Pontiac. Just like Megatron on Transformers is a Desert Eagle not a plane.

I think that the side scoops are acutally hood scoops that has been modified on the lower portion that contacts the body to make it run with the body lines?? I cant tell really but that is what it looks like to me. They are for sure custom though, never seen one that large on the market.

Just use Blackmamba's car....it looks waaaay better. Needs the LED's though hehehhee.

I think the night rider stang is the coolest mustang they come out so far. I would love to own one of them.

Blackmamba's musting is awesome. If you have one of those cars you must be having fun on the track.

Since the new Knight Rider Mustang is starting to get a lot of press, what I'm thinking is that it may generate a saleincrease of Mustangs for the following year.

I think it looks pretty sweet, although I also question the double wing. I suppose in Super Pursuit Mode it needs downforce...and more downforce. And the oversized side scoops probably house lasers or something like that. Who knows. It's KITT. It could be anything.

As for KITT being a Pontiac and not a Ford, that is entirely true. But, what new Pontiac could they plausibly use for the show? A new Grand Prix just doesn't have the same effect as a GT500KR.

All I want to know is if KARR will be a Camaro. [sm=violent053.gif]

I love mustangs, but this is a big mistake.

Garbage, a mustang is a very awesome car but...is not KITT. They should just use a 2002 trans am that has minor mods. Would have been way more convincing.

google "firebird concept"....... i know its a slightly modified camaro but it would be waaay better lookingthan a Shelby for KITT

Knight Rider

The last time a Mustang was used for a Knight Rider series was a '94 and the forgettable series Team Knight Rider. But KITT was made to be a Trans-Am, just like in the original series.

I dont really remember watching the original Knight Rider show. But I liked it. I always hate when they totally change a car. The original was a Trans Am. Should have kept it that way. But......GM doesnt have a platform.....YET. I like the new Knight Rider stang though. Its great. I've read a lot of other forums about this topic and a lot of people are just trashing the Stang. I think it looks way better than the original Knight Rider car. Guess we'll just see how it does. I dont like the wing at all. Other than that its great. I read peoples comments about how Ford is desperate for advertising and all. Then how do you explain the HUGE contract GM had with Transformers? Sounds pretty desperate to me! Should have kept the original Bumblebee a damn VW Beetle then! Just got to give the new show a chance is all. Should be great. Its great seein them bring back the old shows but the need to remember to keep it somewhat to the original standards though.
