Default 2000 Mustang Convertible Issues...

Hi, I am brand new to mustang forum so please forgive me. I am the owner of a 2000 Mustang Convertible and I am having a few problems. My first issue is when I am driving over 60 mph andthen I have to break to exit a ramp, for some reason, my steering wheelsshakes from side to side (left to right motion) and Irecently put new brake pads on my carapproximatelyduring the summertime in between the months of Juneto August. My second issue is that when I am a driving, sometimes my car has this jerking motion where it feels like it is going to stop so can some please give me some advice on what I need to do. Thank you in advance.

Does the steering wheelrattle happen all the time? It might be a bad/warped brake rotor.

yes it does. So do you think that you may have an idea of what it might be?

Yeah, it's likely one (or more) brake rotor. I have an 03 Durango with the same issue, and a warped rotor was identified as the problem.

take it to precision tune they should do free brake checks. I too have a 2000 mustang convertable with that problem. I have to replace all the rotors and front pads. The steering shaking though the the front rotors and if its not done fast itll kill ur new pads too.
