i dont now if this is a repost but i just went to a web-site and the new 2004 mustang looks great.......

R&T just tested one last month and the performance was truely disappointing. Hopefully they'll fix that when it actually goes into production.

5.0s 0-60mph (.1s slower than stock GT)
13.6s @ 104.2 mph (.1s slower than stock GT but 1.8 mph faster)
braking 60-0 mph: 139ft (11ft longer than stock GT)
80 - 0 mph: 247 ft (22ft longer than stock GT)

Its handling is okay: 0.94g and 69 mph through slaloom, but still sucks compared to the Cobra R. Street cars like Z06 and SRT10 will eat it alive.

Again, hopefully they'll fix some of that when it actually is made. I wouldn't spend $175,000 on that for sure.

...Originally from IL, but live in NC now. I currently own an '04 GT convertible, but I'm selling it to save for a down payment on the new '07 Cobra. Gotta have one!!!
