07 Shelby GT

I looked at a mustang with this roof. Not very wise here in Texas. The one I saw didn't have a cover of any sort. I even asked the guy about an insert option and he said not that he knew of. Anyway, this was close to 6 months ago. I don't know if they have updated or not.

Wow, you guys are tough on this glass option. I'm sure the glass is as tough as the external shell of your stang that has paint on it. Most likely the pebbles are going to hit your windshield or your paint not your glass top. If I could have one I would.

Yeah, I think it's agood option.. Not that different really than the T-tops on last gen Camaros or the targa tops on some vettes. That glass should be pretty tough.

I necessarily wouldn't want the glass roof here in Texas. Hails quite often here. Other than that, it's a nice car.

This is a really good point. To put more weight up high like that will be bad for the center of gravity.I would rather it be a composite or carbon-fiber roof option.

Barrett Jackson is auctioning off a KR Shelby with the glass roof. The best part is the stripes are frosted into the glass so they continue through the roof segment. Car will be sold in the next hour. Money is going to charity and the buyer gets the right to buy the first one off the line plus the one he gets tonight.
