Default Last Thread: What luxury car?

Just to let you all know, I have decided on selling the stang and getting one of the cars from the list below with the stang money and $5k I will have from x-mas and work. I'll tell you which one I picked(am getting)after voting and postinghas gone on a couple to a few days. I already talked to my parents about it and they said ok, I can do it in the spring.I decided like you all said, that speed and power on the street is dangerous and only safely used at the track. I have also gottena little bored of the stang and slightly annoyed at the sports car ride(bumpy and you feel everything the cardoes-I know this is my own fault). So I have decided thata luxury car will take careof the bumpyride, and allow me to ride in style with safety and comfort. This is why I haven't really been positng lately.I am sorry tosay goodbye, but you all have been very helpful and kind to me. So my last ?for you guys is, Which luxury car would you choose with the given circumstances and why?

PS-There are noAsian luxury cars, b/c I hate their styling and enginesound.

I can understand that. I am trading in a sports car for a luxury car and that will make sports car owners mad. I just don't feel the need for one anymore, and just don't have the fun or excitement with it that I used to(maybe I'lllike them again when I'm older). I see many benefits with these luxurycars over the stang, sothat's what I decided to do. Speed is no longer a want or need to me. I wanna justdrive a more relaxed and luxury car and enjoy life. Not always having to wonder, when is the next ricer gonna pull up and revat me, when's the nextcopgonna eyethe young kid in the stang,or who wants to make fun of the moddedV6 stang.I don't know if yousee my point, but I just explained it anyway.

yeah, this thread is awkward.......also, your thought processing is definitely unconventional.....but anyways, Lac all the way. best american luxury car by far in my mind. we used to have a '78 coupe deville and that was the MOST comfy/smooth car i ever rode in. before i got my stang, i spent some time sitting in a top notch STS at the local dealership and I started thinking about slanging some dope to afford it....haha.but seriously, good luck and hopefully you manage to sort out your internal battles.

Cool, I was just bagging on you anyway.

Out of your choices there, considering that you're a young punk (and so am I) personally I would probably go for the Bimmer (as new as possible.)

They look great, handle very well and are nice and luxurious inside, but they still have that "young" feel to them (as opposed to your other choices, which I largely regard as old-people cars.) And I know you just said you don't care about speed, but the 325s are still punchy enough that you can have some fun with them if you want.

I understand you're not really about that these days or whatever, and your concerns about race challenges and the cops are reasonable, but in fairness, you're still a young male and there are going to be times when you want some power to stomp on and have some fun with.

In terms of luxury and ride quality you probably can't go wrong with any of your choices there, but if I were in your shoes and had to trade my Stang (for some ungodly reason) for one of those cars, I think I'd be rollin' in the Bimmer.

It's your choice of course, but this is probably the wrong place to seek such advice.

Sorta like asking your friends the best way to commit suicide. They don't want to see you do it at all.....

Just keep in mind, those cars you have listed will cost you more for repairs and service. Parts are more expensive too. My Mother had a Lincoln Continental.....very comfortable but very expensive to maintain.

Unless you are at least 30 years old, married and play golf 2 times a week, either one of those cars will stereotype you as a drug dealer.Save a little money for some 22's, lowering and a front seat track extention that will allow you to drive it from the back seat.
