I've seen that kit myself, but it has left me with more questionionable doubt, than certainty. First thing is that the kit is a universal kit, so some pieces will need to be modified furthur to make them work. Secondly the T-3/4 turbos are not the best thing in the world by modern standards, and tend to go out fairly fast, just read the feedback on them from the site, they also can not run as much boost safely as newer/better brands and models of turbos can. Thirdly some of the parts are cheaply crafted, and the intercooler isn't the most effective, remember, you get what you pay for. Lastly, it's not a complete kit, as some parts still need to be modified, not to mention the fact that the seller has already screwed up some sales and hasn't shiped some people an entire kit.

Personally, I wouldn't buy it simply because of all the risk involved, it may be an OK buy, but with the sellers feedback and item quality in question, I just wouldn't take a chance on it, now if you wish to, and want to let us know how things went, I'd say be my guest, I'm always wanting to learn how these types of things turn out for people.

I don't know man, with the money I am planning to spend this kit sounds like a good deal. Ihave about $2000, andI think that would be enough (maybe im wrong). Also I don't want some super big power on my car but something average, little faster V6, and I think with this kit that is realistic. But the onlyproblem I have is just like you said, how much can I trust that guy! Now if I knew everything is ok and would work just fine, I would pay even$1500 for that kit...but thats only IF! And I am not a big fan of NOS, it is kinda not practic for use and it lasts very short!

This is just my advice here, but with $2000 why don't you look into buying a used Vortec S/C or something. Why take a gamble with that kind of money on something not quite proven when you can spend the money on something you know will work, and if something goes wrong, you can get parts quickly. There are tons of V6 S/C kits for around $1500 with little miles on them, some are even rebuilt and ready to go.

Granted, turbos make more stable power, however, trusting an "ebay" seller for a turbo kit doesn't seem to be the best route to me. If anything I'd rather build a custom fab kit myself then buy an unproven universal kit, at least I'd know the quality of the parts I'm using.

Are you sure I can find used Vortec S/C for this money? If I can find one but complete kit, ready to install I wouldn't wait a minute, I'd buy it. Tell me where can I find those man...not on ebay obviously!

Either way 2000$ wont cover your entire bill.

so theonly thing for me with $2500 is to get some NOS, somenice body kit, and some racing seats....im sure i could get that! but i still love S/C or turbos better...damn! ill go post a new forum now "Looking for used S/C and Turbo COMPLETE Kits"

OK, just did a quick search, and for the first time ever, I could not find a used system for a sixer, oddly enough, now that I'm "NOT" looking, as it would figure, I found 10 billion used S/Cs for 94-95 5.0s, go figure that, have the brakes, and tranny finally go bad, and my S/C money has to go towards them, damnmit I hate irrony.[:@]

Keep a look out on ebay.

Also constantly check the "For Sale" forum here.

Also, hit up www.corral.net, they're another mustang forum, but their forum boards kind of suck, but their for sale area is "HUGE".

Keep an eye out for a few weeks and do more research to make sure that this is what you want to do.

Remember, with N2O you have to pay for refills, pay to have it well tuned, and you don't always have the power potential like you do with the S/C because once the boost is gone, you're back to stock.

Fixed that for you.

Yeah 3.8L s/c's are almost impossible to find right now, seems their is a huge performance boom for the 6er's.... Even if you find a used s/c kit for 1.6k your still gonna need a tune, and a few other minor things.

will the pics of that kit didn't show any headers to feed the turbo's.

maybe that's why it's sooo cheap combined with cheap chinese self exploding turbo's.

try to find a used procharger kit. i might be making V6 turbo kits but don't be fooled into thinking $1000 will get you a reliable poweradder other than nitrous.

a decent twin kit will run $4000+ and that's without all the fuel/air/tuning parts.

anyways a twin kit really isn't needed.

a good sized single will get the job done just fine

OK looked at the pics alittle closer. "it's a Trap" that is a bogus kit. the turbo feeds to the IC are a joke. there is no way that would work and i will bet the turbo's are just "zip tied" in place.

the kit shoen with the pipes shows all nice symmetrical bends. no way in hell are you going to have identical looking IC pipe bends on both sides.

that guy selling them needs reported. all he is selling is junk turbo's and cheap ass IC/IC lines

I agree. That set up is pure crap. Don't get scammed.

Buy a used S/C set up or even an M112 set up and save yourself a lot of headache.

That is just a turbo compressor. You'd need SO much more than that, it's not even worth listing.
