I KNOW I KNOW!!! sorry i just had to ask im eager to tun this guy but he told me to wait till saturday. So, my gf's cousin just bought an 04 350z (auto) bone stock and he wants to run me. How will i do from a stop and from a roll? Im an above average driver but no John Force.Ive been looking for videos but all the ones i see the Z's are packin' a big mod list. I have 3.73's on the way but they will be here friday!

you will have more of an advantage from a dig because it seems you spent some money on the suspension and such

from a roll I see it being close but you being a 5 speed I don't see it being a problem for you as it takes his computer a large amount of time to downshift

In a staged run from a roll, I always punch the gas just a tad before the 3rd honk. If you drive an auto, you get used to the time it takes to downshift, so you know exactly how to time your WOT.

UPDATE: he came overlast nightand i sat/drove his car. I have to admit it, guys 350z's are NICE cars and his was mint condition, super clean! I was a bit jelous. Its the 2nd model up from the base model (enthusiest?) and i believe has all options for it. The interior is SEX. The seats were SEX.Its really nice and it drove like a dream...so smooth and silky. I only got to take it around the block and tapped the gas a few times and WHOA, it felt torquey as hell below 3k rpm. Iwouldnt mind owning one for a daily.... might look intoan03/4 in a fewyears when they're around 12k.Im still confident that ill win but im not saying anything yet. We'll race this weekened hopefully ill have my gears on by then and ill DEFFINETLY have a video
