This is like a bad roller coaster ride...
I've been eyeing an 07 Shelby GT and had a deal worked out, $36K for a white 07 SGT
I found a black 07 at another dealer and they added some 20" foose wheels and a whipple supercharger (the one in my other post), it also has the shaker 1000. I wasn't going to give them an offer because I really wanted to do the Shelby GT/SC route but after thinking it over there are a few advantages;
I can have the car the day I pull the triger
I don't need to send it off to be supercharged
Warranty can be handled at the local dealer where the whipple was installed, this is the main advantage I think.
The car looks incredible, black with the black 20" foose wheels looks so awesome. I just love it and I've never liked black cars before.
my main concerns are two fold;
I HATE the dealer (that's why it took so long to find the car, I had a bad buying experience 10 or so years ago and never fogave them - long story, but bottomline is they tried to swindle me out of ALOT more money than we had agreed on by hiding it in paperwork so I walked away and swore I'd never go back).
I also wanted my car to be a registered Shelby SC car
I was thinking that if I could get a really good deal (I was planning on offering $45K out the door) then I could forget about the bad blood.
Thoughts?
