Cool idea, but... How much are you expecting to get for a used V6?  And what kind of Vette are you looking at?  Wouldn't it take 3-4 brand new V6's to buy one brand new Corvette?

those cars are amazing pieces of machinery. They are well worth the money in my book, good luck man, and make sure to post some pics if you end up gettin one.

If someone offered you $19K for your 2006 V6 Mustang, you'd better take it and run! I bought a new '07 Pony Package with 3 miles for $19K.....sticker was $22....but I got some discounts.

As long as you get a fair price for your Stang, I say go for it. I love Mustangs, but how can any gear head not love a Vette?

i would take the 19K any day. and you guys might hat me hehe but i am thinking about next year going to the tuner side. selling the stang and picking up a Nissan Skyline R32 GTR. they haul ass, probably a high 12 stock. 2.6L I6 TT, not a bad engine. plus i can find a good one for about 14k give or take some

Love corvettes, I would never blame anyone for trading in a stang towards one of those beautiful babies. I love them so much that I dragged my family 150 miles out of the way of our roadtrip route just so I could get a tour of the factory in Bowling Green. They complained for the whole 150 miles down, but couldn't stop talking about it for the 150 miles back

Once I get out of college and get a real job, that is the first major purchase I am making with my money, a burnt orange Zo6 would be ideal. I took a ride in one of those puppies, and suddenly everything else is just a car!

Had 3 vettes. Last one was 02 C5 Z06. If you're looking for a C5, that would be the one.
