How much are you expecting to get for a used V6? And what kind of Vette are you looking at? Wouldn't it take 3-4 brand new V6's to buy one brand new Corvette? mignella254 12-10-2007, 07:38 AM those cars are amazing pieces of machinery. They are well worth the money in my book, good luck man, and make sure to post some pics if you end up gettin one. zid3 12-10-2007, 11:52 AM i found a used 05 for 32k w 23k miles but im look for a c5 maybe i alrdy got one offer for 19k for my car Sancho805 12-10-2007, 12:37 PM recently saw a show on History channel (i think) about the vette and what goes into building one.....pretty AWESOME. just wish there was more interior room to fit more chicks...[8D] ;). 07 Stang 12-10-2007, 02:27 PM ORIGINAL: zid3 i found a used 05 for 32k w 23k miles but im look for a c5 maybe i alrdy got one offer for 19k for my car If someone offered you $19K for your 2006V6Mustang, you'd better take it and run! [&:] ricekiller06 12-10-2007, 11:28 PM i would take the 19K any day. and you guys might hat me hehe but i am thinking about next year going to the tuner side. selling the stang and picking up a Nissan Skyline R32 GTR. they haul ass, probably a high 12 stock. 2.6L I6 TT, not a bad engine. plus i can find a good one for about 14k give or take some kngdaka 12-10-2007, 11:35 PM Love corvettes, I would never blame anyone for trading in a stang towards one of those beautiful babies. I love them so much that I dragged my family 150 miles out of the way of our roadtrip route just so I could get a tour of the factory in Bowling Green. They complained for the whole 150 miles down, but couldn't stop talking about it for the 150 miles back:D Once I get out of college and get a real job, that is the first major purchase I am making with my money, a burnt orange Zo6 would be ideal. I took a ride in one of those puppies, and suddenly everything else is just a car! zid3 12-11-2007, 12:00 AM mine was 23 stick and i got it for 19k 20k after taxes and what not still owe about 15 on it tho im probly take the 19 pay the 15 off and then put the 4 down. i love the stang but after driving my friends dads supcharged c6 and a superchargered 07 zo6 i felt the urge to have one, maybe ill keep the stang and sell the nova. any one want to buy my nova? mint condtin..lol run 10s all day long=D Wickerbill 12-11-2007, 06:45 AM nova? mint condtin..lol run 10s all day long=D What year?? With what kind of drivetrain?? Pics would be helpful....I have a built Tuned port that would love a Nova for a home! DelStang86 12-11-2007, 07:19 AM keep the nova. zid3 12-11-2007, 01:56 PM im gonna keep the nova=) cant let the race car go Wickerbill 12-11-2007, 02:44 PM im gonna keep the nova=) cant let the race car go Ah if it is a racer I wouldnt be interested anyway......plus im looking for a 63-65 chevy 2 nova and I highly doubt if you had one of them you woulda turned it into a racer. Sancho805 12-11-2007, 02:46 PM anyone interested in a '63 ranchero?......its not really a racer, more like a driveway "sitter"......[8D]. forensicsteve 12-11-2007, 03:08 PM Had 3 vettes. Last one was 02 C5 Z06. If you're looking for a C5, that would be the one. zid3 12-11-2007, 06:42 PM [quote]ORIGINAL: forensicsteve Had 3 vettes. Last one was 02 C5 Z06. I've been searching around for a while and the best deals i can find on ones from motorex (the only street legal ones in the country) are ~19k with 60k miles. zid3 12-11-2007, 08:42 PM theres one guy bu me seeling it with 40k miles he wants 30 for it 07 Stang 12-11-2007, 09:00 PM Save about $70K and get the 2008Nissan GT-R.......0-60 in 3.5 seconds....11.7 sec. 1/4 mile. JudgeThis 12-13-2007, 03:50 AM hell yea go with the C6. The LS2 is a killer motor. Trust me, I know. LesteR723 12-13-2007, 07:16 AM its a chevy.... but i can't blame ya man i'd have me one in a heart beat. Good luck finding a good one though. I know two people who own vettes and the engines just turn to trash even under good maintenence. They're sicknasty but you just have to watch out LesteR723 12-13-2007, 07:17 AM and whoever suggested the new skyline gtr forget that. A vette is just on a totally different level. Plus the vettes start fast and then if you get forced induction you can be running a streetable vette at 850-900 hp. Try that in a skyline without serious modification. banginstang07 12-13-2007, 01:45 PM good luck man i plan on pickin one up some day when i get out of college but thats way in the future o well Sancho805 12-13-2007, 02:09 PM i would love to have one also, but i dont see myself ever trading my stang for one. i would rather buy one and keep the stang. vette's have lower chick capacity[8D]:D. Wickerbill 12-13-2007, 03:08 PM vette's have lower chick capacity ahh yes you have a point sancho, but how much more chick magneticity does the vette have?? :) Sancho805 12-13-2007, 03:50 PM ORIGINAL: Wickerbill vette's have lower chick capacity ahh yes you have a point sancho, but how much more chick magneticity does the vette have?? :) haha....i thought about that also. Quantity vs. Quality. haha. |
