Alright, probably about time I get in on one of these then, can never get enough microfibers. What sort of wax/sealant would you recommend for a light green colored car? I'm looking for something that has good protection against dirt and tree sap, bird droppings etc since it is a daily driver- see the link below for a (large) picture. http://img112.imageshack.us/img112/843/nabster6901passengersidrd5.jpg

Hypershine sealant or Opti-Seal. I think those would look good on that color.

First I would use my Light Polish or Optimum Polish to clean the paint, correct light swirls and scratches, plus bring out more shine and reflection. Then I would top with eithe my Hyper Shine or Optimum Opti Seal Sealant as Cooter mentioned. They Hyper Shine goes on and off more like a wax and the Opti Seal is a walk on and walk away product, you don't have to buff off, it just dissappears. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

I think the Hyper Shine would really bring that color out really nice. The opti-seal is pretty amazing too. I used the hyper shine on my black mustang once, and it really glowed. It looked good enough like it was without needing to be topped. Here's a pic of my car with the hypershine sealant. Its behind the white Altima. The Altima was poli-sealed and topped with Nattys Red btw =) http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w119/Drkness26/SANY0041.jpg

Alright looking now I see the optimum products look to be used with a buffer, I don't have one that I'm comfortable using on the car, so it looks like the light polish and hyper shine will be the way I need to go.

The Optimum Polish actually works really well by hand or with a buffer, it has light abrassives and is a good finishing polish. I think you will be very happy with the Light Polish by hand topped with the Hyper Shine. With the Light Polish I recommend doing small sections at a time. With the Polish you don't have to use that much at all, a little bit will go a long way, just basically work it in until it almost dissappears and then take off. Then apply the Hyper Shine, with this a little bit will go a long way too. You can do a panel and let it haze up or do the whole vehicle and then buff off, either way will work fine. I do recommend putting a second coat after 15 minutes to ensure the best coverage and durability.
