i was just wondering what tranny should i get? i have an 85 gt and i heard just to rebuild this tranny would be a waste of time and money because they are known to blow out third gear alot, i was also told to get the world class that comes in the 87-93's.i was looking into the tremec transmissions but i dont know if they are worth the money or not.would be greatly appreciated on some opinions.thanks

The world class is a good trans. it all depends on how much you want to mod your car. The tremec can handle more torque then the world class but if you dont plan on going more that 500 ft lbs of torque i would think the world class will be just fine for what you want to do.

i like the tremec tko myself, or the t-56(6 speed). both worth the money!!!!!!
